Good Practices Working Group: Positive HR Systems
Background: Continuing to Build a Local CSR Network
In May 2007, BSR successfully completed a Packaged CSR Training Program designed to meet the needs of suppliers in the apparel industry. In addition to improving the suppliers' knowledge and skills regarding CSR topics, the program also served to build a local peer network of suppliers with common CSR challenges – a network that has proven to be very valuable to the program participants. At the request of both suppliers and buyers, BSR is convening a series of meetings to help suppliers sustain CSR improvements and encourage continued peer-learning.
