It is widely recognized that sustained adherence to workplace codes of conduct require more than audits and corrective action plans. Training, education and capacity building are among the complementary efforts that will help brands and suppliers reach sustained levels of workplace improvements.
It is for this reason that CTI has provide capacity building services in China with two main objectives: 1) to develop and deliver a diverse and in-depth set of trainings to factory management that will promote good labor practices in China-based export facilities; and 2) to create a sustainable training institute in mainland China that can effectively meet factories' need for technical training on good labor practices.
In recent two years, CTI not only provides public courses offered primarily to companies in the retail, toy, footwear and apparel industries, but also provide long term courses targeting specific industry, e.g. apparel, and electronic.
A total of five training sessions, each lasting one to two days, will be provided, totaling 9 training days. All the training sessions will take place in Mandarin and will be highly interactive and participatory. view more »
