The National Conference on Pollution Prevention and Control Work was held in Shanghai on Feb. 23-25, 2009. Mr. Zhang Li Jun, vice minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection attended the meeting and gave a speech. He stressed that opportunities and challenges coexist under the current situation. The active pollution control capacity should be strengthened to create a new prospect of pollution prevention and control.
