On April 16 and 17, International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) and BSR’s China Training Institute held the first round of 2009 Continuous Improvement for ICTI CARE Process Suppliers Trainings in Guangzhou. The topics of this training include the introduction of the project, an understanding of the ICTI standard, the establishment of CSR management systems and an update on the Chinese labor contract law. More than 40 managers from 20 toy export factories attended the training. In the coming four months, the participants’ studies will include effective workers’ communication, staff system establishment, workplace health and safety management, and factory best practice sharing. Participants include ICTI and BSR management.
