Guangdong province will build pension insurance system for 23,000,000 farmers through personal account + basic pension model. Furthermore, the payment will increase every year as well. There are 21 cities which have built the pension insurance for the farmers whose land had been expropriated. According to the statistics from government, there are 40,000,000 farmers in the province and only 23,000,000 farmers are fitted to attend the social pension insurance, and an abundance of people still had not been involved in the pension insurance system.
