Job Title of Opening: Compliance Specialist

Work Location: Guangdong Province

Direct Manager: Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Help factory to develop a systematic compliance program.
  2. Manage implementation of compliance program in factories.
  3. Help factory compliance team to develop training & education program
  4. Develop & improve employee medical surveillance program especially for workers related to chemical for daily job. 
  5. Audit and follow up to assist with corrective action.
  6. Introduce NB standards and follow up factory monthly performance reporting.
  7. Sub-contractor and vendor risk identification and carry out monitoring system.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Three years experience conducting factory audits and overseeing corrective actions
  2. Strong understanding of factory and supply chain operations
  3. Strong understanding of codes of conduct, and international labor standards
  4. Strong knowledge of CSR issues in Asia, familiarity with the NGO environment and multi-stakeholder initiatives
  5. Ability to develop, get buy-in, and implement programs to improve factory management systems and overall working conditions
  6. Fluent spoken and written Chinese, as well as strong written and spoken English.
  7. This job will require extensive travel throughout China.
