BSR and its Chinese Training Institute (CTI) have held the closing seminar of the 3rd round Continuous Improvement Program for Toy Sector (CIPT) in its Guangzhou training room on January 29, 2010. The seminar was full of heated discussion and the training program has been proved to be a successful project.
In this seminar, CTI invited Wang Tie, the vice general secretary of China Gift Chamber of Commerce, to present his insight of the current export trends in toy industry in China. He also shared government incentive programs for toy industry. Three factory representatives shared their case study on management system, energy efficiency and top management communication via this project. Last, CTI manager Jason Ho gave his presentation on how to implement a dynamic CSR management system. Key points for a dynamic CSR management system are: compliance is baseline, risk management system, understanding industry context and reporting to brands.
There were more than 40 participants from 22 toy factories attended this closing seminar.
